Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons
Twitter finished. Demagogues tamed. Every carriage now the quiet carriage.
Bernadette and Oliver aren't happy all the time. That would be weird!
You need some bad times in any relationship, to appreciate the good - a little light and shade. And the law now limits citizens to one hundred and forty words per day, so it's a little difficult to communicate, especially with so many of those words spent on protest. But still, they understand each other easily enough. They're doing fine. Right?
Lemons... is an examination of priorities in a time of censorship. Connection, oppression, oversharing, air horns, and cats.
The Bald Soprano
The Smiths are a distracted couple living in London who have invited another couple, the Martins, over for a visit. What begins as meaningless chat soon devolves into a series of chaotic non-sequiturs with no resemblance to normal conversation.
The Bald Soprano is a show about communication (or lack of it) and poses the question: what would we be without it?

The Lion & Unicorn Theatre - Blue Bottles
November 4th 2021, 07:30 PM - November 4th 2021, 08:30 PM
The play 'blue bottles' is an absurd tragicomedy which explores the possibilities of seemingly conversational banality told through the many eyes of two unlikely characters... oh, by the way, they're flies... those characters are flies!
The play begins with an introduction of two opposing characters and develops their relationship with conversations about a collection of random thoughts and opinions, ranging from potentially unimportant discussions about roman gladiators and how a fly sleeps to the deepest parts of their ideologies. It explores themes of loneliness and how maybe, just maybe, a conversation with someone new can help you understand the world in a better way. To do this, it adopts techniques of immersive sound scapes and dialogue while contrasting a physically intriguing piece of live theatre, to bring the audience a technically engaging piece of theatre.
