Really excellent experience! We booked a table for 20 people (which was a long shot already) and they managed to prepare a single long one - food arrived in very reasonable time, first the kids then the adults, and...we ended up staying at the pub for the rest of the afternoon, drinking and chilling while the kids were playing around and outside in the garden. Food was very good (amazing fries) and staff was very, very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommended!

Beautiful Setup for a Staff Christmas Dinner We just had our Staff Christmas dinner here and it was really amazing. The place looked beautiful and festive. The service /staff and food were both great. It was a really lovely setup and would definitely recommend for any agency Christmas dinner.

Food is the best. OMG! The food, The service and the ambience was absolutely amazing, The place looks stunning and such a lovely festive feel about it. I feel so lucky to live so close to this little gem. I had the Steak & Apple tart tati served by the lovely warm Sheree, who looked after us this evening. I never left a thing on my plate. Been on the market for a new local for a while and after a lot of research we came across The Lion & Unicorn and boy did it not disappoint! All the staff were friendly, attentive and professional, Kate was great from the moment we arrived! I don’t know many pubs who offer cucumber water! The food was delicious and we were spoilt for choice. The pub has a great community feel and is buzzing with people from all walks of life which adds a richness and a sense of belonging. Looking forward to coming back!

This is an absolute gem of a pub!! . We were recommended it after a business trip concluded near by and we had time to kill before our train. The fireplace and outdoor area are gorgeous, the food is delicious ! A little pricier than most pubs, but worth it Very romantic. Very good value. Staff couldnt do enough for you We were so impressed at the start of thefirst tour that we made sure we had enough time at the end of the second to visit again!
